CAN YOU WALK ME THROUGH THE DESIGN PROCESS?

Discovery Call & On-Site Consultation
Everything beings with booking a Discovery Call to get to know your and your project better. An on-site consultation is then scheduled to assess your space and narrow down the scope of work.
2. Commencement of Project & Trade Day
A week from that date, a design proposal outlining the scope of work, our design fee and estimated project investment amount will be sent for approval. Once the design proposal is signed, our design fee is required to begin your project. Upon payment, we coordinate an on-site meeting for measurements, photos and hold meetings with any tradespeople involved.
3. Design Presentation
In 4 weeks, we will meet together for our presentation of space layouts, furnishings, and physical materials. Every space presented allows for (1) revision to any 3 items in the space. We then talk through the final cost estimates and timeline. Upon design approval, full payment of the furnishing budget is due to begin placing orders.
4. Ordering & Fulfillment
We source and project manage all ordering, shipping and delivery logistics. We communicate weekly via email with updates on status, budget & any adjustments needed to meet your timeline.
5. Installation and Design Reveal
The moment you have been waiting for...completion of your beautiful, newly designed space! After installation, we will arrange a project reveal with you and possible photography upon completion.
6. Deficiencies, Resolutions & Final Meeting
We will coordinate a walk through meeting to identify and resolve any deficiencies. Once resolved, we will present a reference binder and any final invoices (if applicable).
HOW MUCH DOES WORKING WITH AN INTERIOR DESIGNER COST?
There are a number of factors that impact the cost of design services including the size, complexity, and pace of your project. We offer a flat rate on design services when our team is involved in the project from start to finish. During our discovery call together, we will talk over those details further.
HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?
Once the design proposal is signed, most projects begin the following week. During the ordering and fulfillment phase of your project, product lead times vary. Generally, you can expect furniture to be about 6-10 weeks (for online orders). Quick-ship items can be procured in 2-6 weeks, but options are very limited. Following your approved designs, we will provide an estimated timeline of completion.
HOW MUCH DO PEOPLE TYPICALLY SPEND ON FURNITURE, ART & ACCESSORIES FOR A ROOM?
Following our Discovery Call, you will be emailed our Furniture Investment Guide to give a detailed price point of items based on a tiered quality (Value, Mid, and High level). Before designing, we will confirm the design direction, final criteria, and investment estimate of the project. We always strive to source all of your essential pieces such as seating, rugs, and a few design accents into whatever investment amount you’d like to set. We also design down to the tiniest details even if it means other items may need to land on your wish list for later.
WHAT IF I NEED ADDITIONAL HELP WITH SOME OTHER ODDS AND ENDS?
We are happy to perform additional design services outside of the project scope at an hourly rate if you need them. Let us know what you have in mind and we can discuss your options!
